Awakening to Mynahs chirping, in endless conversations with mates, the call of the Koel in her mellifluous voice, the Bulbuls swinging from branch to branch, in search of a vantage nook to house themselves. The intelligent Crows not far behind. The Champak tree adorned with fragrant flowers and glistening leaves, beckons all to nestle in her. Times have changed and the birds are returning, to reclaim their natural inheritance. Their melody brings cheer and hope to the hurting soul.

Oh, my! Such depth in your amazing poem. Reclaiming our youth and simpler times. Going back to our roots and realize the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. Thank you so much for joining in.

Beautiful. White Eyes disappeared from the area in which I live, about ten years ago. I miss them as they used to help keep my rose bushes free of aphids.

Wow, helping in other ways, not just the music they provide.
