The Saturday Symphony #17 (Riddle me this…)

Bean Crazy

Deceptive are appearances,

Rugged looks, sweet soul balances,

Part of me sounds like ‘beanin candy,

Liquid in me, caressing, not sandy,

Part ‘crazy’ on the brink,

Quench thirst, I make a satisfying drink,

Scatter flakes for extra oomph,

Empty bowls are all the proof,

Sometimes, hard to crack,

Can do it if you have the knack.

  1. Coconut? is a coconut a seed or a bean…Answer. Botanically speaking, a coconut is a fibrous one-seeded drupe, also known as a dry drupe. However, when using loose definitions, the coconut can be all three: a fruit, a nut, and a seed. Hmm are all beans seeds?

Or are we talking Chocolate! The cocoa bean is the seed of the cacao tree (Theobroma cacao), a tropical plant indigenous to the equatorial regions of the Americas. From the processed cocoa bean comes the fluid paste, or liquor, from which cocoa powder and chocolate are made.
